...well maybe not the world, but if I ever were to become a German teacher, there are two things I would do:
1. Import 'Nikolaustag' to the UK - you can't go wrong giving out chocolates to help brighten a wintery 6th December.
2. Have the courtesy to tell any language assistants if i'm not going to be in school, so that their time is not wasted turning up for a non-existent lesson.
